That is not a problem as the 51% Thai shares will have no voting rights. Or you write into the founding constitution:
- change of directors needs 75% votes.
- Issuing dividends need 75% votes.
- maximum amount of dividends issued at any fiscal year can only be 10% of the earnings
Etc. p.p.
For founding a company, you need a lawyer. So, does not really make any sense to think with some half knowledge scratched from outdated internet pages and other facebook posts, you would get very far. (Not directed at you
- it is for the other readers. There are even I*D*I*T*S who think a 51% majourity share holder can run to the bank and demand to withdraw all the money of the company)
For that you do not need a visa either. HINT: you get a business visa AFTER you have showed you have the relevant insurance. AND you get the bank account for the company opened: when you have a company. AND not when you have a visa.
I do not know why people who never really looked at the topic, copy paste half knowledge all over Facebook.
" you can but before openings company they provide all info because you must to appoint 4 locals and yourself as a Dirdctor and show salaries as well after open company taxes start your company work or not staff salaries taxes start. Do you know it ?"
That is all wrong sorry.
First you open the company, and you are managing director.
4 Thai workers you only need if you have the wrong company set up, and: what a work permit for your self.
No salaries involved at all.
Get a lawyer if YOU want to open a company and work. Do not spread half knowledge which is not only half wrong but 99% wrong in forums.
Pattaya is more expensive. Because of the distance. Cambodia would probably be the simplest, Myanmar is a bit closer, but I have no idea about the political situation. If you need a quick solution, I suggest to extend once first, so your current stamp is 90 days in total. Gives you time to think about the leaving and reentry. There are sometimes super cheap flights, e.g. Vientiane. Or Kualalumpur. Or Nanning in China. I once ha a flight with Air Asia to Japan and back for$40.
Then you had luck. Depending on the visa, e.g. multiple entry tourist visa, you do not need it. But he comes with no visa, aka visa exempt. So he needs it. Regarding multiple entry tourist visa, I do not remember if you need one. If so, it will be mentioned on the eVisa web site.
An extension costs 1900THB. To get out of the country you take a bus and come back for 200THB in total. No idea why one with a valid multiple entry visa is doing a "visa run" border runs or what ever.
