Good advice for foreigners you are in a foreign country, when in Rome etc. I cringe at the way some farang behave here, have some respect but then towns like Pattaya attract the dregs .

Can you explain why the Thai authorities have to put up special signs only for Chinese tourist telling them how to behave? It is not Sinophobia , it years of travelling and living abroad you notice different behaviour. I have relatives who are Chinese by the way .

Ivan McAvinchey Not Sinophobia did you enjoy being with groups of Chinese as opposed to other nationalities. I travel a lot and have been in loads of flights with Chinese hordes, yes hordes, they do not have any consideration for anyone else. Like you I treat others with respect but rather Chinese are so focused on their "needs" they ignore or do nit have the niceties that others do.
