Don't worry about the visa you can stamp fist 30 days and then 60 days in sinde Thailand beginning from 31 July. good luck friends 🙏🇹🇭🙏

Firs the give you 30 day in Thailand after that the give you 60 days and then you most out from Thailand and best way is Lao ambassaden there you get 90 days and in to Thailand and after 90 days you can stamp same 30 days and 60 days and out good luck 🙏🇹🇭

 yes but you most have COREKT paper and you can only have visa 90 days and out to Lao Thai ambassad and get 90 days 🙏🇹🇭

 this is a worldwide pandemic. Everyone wants to, and should protect their own.

Thailand is Covid free ( or close to) keep ousiders out another month to be sure.

This is not just a Thai problem , every country on earth is in same potential boat.

Dont listen to this shit about economy, suicides, bars and bar girls.

Actually Lao IS open for people traveling there.

You need to BUY a visa from the Lao consulate here in Bangkok

You need to pay for yourself to be quarantined for 14 days once you get there

You can ONLY fly in to Vientiane..

BUT

The thai consulate in Lao is closed as far as issuing visas, AND for all practical purposes thailand is closed as far as you comin' back in to the country easily

Getting out of Thailand is possible, it is the getting back in that requires skills that even Houdini would find a challenge as the Thais keep moving the goal posts. Not sure what the thinking is you cannot be 100% Covid free, if you are what do you do,sit in blissful isolation ?

Do they take you to quarantine? Or do you just choose anywhere ro quarantine for 14 days?

I havent heard any reports of laos doing the same as thailand, where they take you straight to qaurantine from the airport.

as far as getting in to Lao

 I'd say google is your friend :P

It was posted a while back by one of the Lao governmental ministries what their entry requirements were AND how it worked. I'm sure it's out there.

BUT

because most foreigners here only go to Lao to buy a visa for thailand and then come right back, camping out there for 14 days, getting a visa for thailand and going thru the whole process that it takes now to get back in here is hardly a feasible endeavor
