I had my non-B extension transferred at CW 2 weeks ago (Irish passport) I didn't have the letter from my embassy nor was I asked for it.

That's been answered several times already, it's 2000B

if you're traveling again soon then you can get away without doing this 90 day. The next time you travel and re-enter the 90 days will start again and you can report as normal after that. I've done this myself without any hassle at airports or immigration and didn't have to pay any fines
