TLDR : Answer Summary
There is no specific visa solely for visiting family in Thailand. However, visitors may use a Visa Exempt Entry or a single-entry tourist visa for family visitation. The tourist visa allows for an initial stay of 60 days, which can be extended by 30 days. For immediate family members (such as a Thai spouse or half-Thai child), one can apply for a Non-Immigrant O visa. Other relatives, like stepparents or stepsiblings, do not qualify for this visa. It's advisable to check with a local Thai consulate or embassy for forms and specific guidelines.

I think we took this as far as we can.
IF
one of your parents married a thai (making you have a thai step parent) unless that parent adopted you there would be no basis for the visit family visa or extension. You aren't 'family' enough to get the visa or extension.
I'd say come here on a single entry tourist visa as that'd give you 60 days and you could extend that by 30 more if you needed to

There is a 60 day extension based on visiting family (immediate family) which can be used pretty easily but no specific visa for it.

I believe this would be a non-imm type-O.visa issued on grounds of family visitation, and there is a form for it. Check your most local Thai consulate's or embassy's website

You are allowed to visit your family with a Visa Exempt Entry and with any other visa. But I guess you like to know about the Non Immigrant O visa to visit your husband/wife or your half Thai children.
