There is an extra step now where the hotels must confirm your reservations. If they do not reply within 72 hours the Thai Pass is automatically rejected. Hope your hotels have their acts together.
Actually the departure card is the one kept with the passport. The arrival card was kept by immigration when they got stamped in. I know it is a minor point but it might confuse someone but it does say "DEPARTURE CARD" on it. So they need a photocopy of the departure card (some IOs want both sides even though almost nothing on the back side) not the arrival card which they do not have.
You are not renewing it. You are getting a current dated one showing you are still legally married. You can go to any district or sub-district office in the country to get it. You do not need to go to the office that registered your marriage. It is a nationwide online system. Tell them you need a Kor Ror 2. They will print it out and sign it. The cost is 20 baht. You should not need an appointment. Just go to the office, get a queue (if they have them) and ask for the form. Once it is your turn it should only take a few minutes.
Get it translated into English. Take original and English translations to the Ministry of a foreign Affairs and request they legalize the translations. Marriage certificate (pretty one with borders) and the Kor Ror 2.
Did he save the information? After that have him do a search on the first date of residence and then screenshot the results of that screen. It will show your name and other info. That is what you show immigration.
I do every year. Just need a current lease with tax stamps (what my office wants) to submit with the docs. Check with your local office on what they want for proof of living at the address on your application. If your wife owns the property you live in and she has a tambien baan for it then that should be all you need. If you own the condo just prove you own it.
Try another branch or bank. Certificate of residence is not needed. When they do that they are telling you they don’t want a foreign customer in that particular branch.
