Hello dear community,
I have yet another question! I got married about 1.5y ago in Phuket and I am returning to Europe in a few months. In order for my country to recognise the marriage certificate, I have to legalise it through the Thai government before I can legalise it at my embassy. Is this done at the Thai Ministry of Foreign affairs? If so, do I just show up there and wait until it is my turn? And does anyone know if it could be finished the next day?
Thank you! 💚🙏
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user seeks guidance on legalizing their Thai marriage certificate to ensure it is recognized in Europe. They inquire whether this process is handled at the Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs and whether it can be completed quickly. Suggestions include translating the certificate into English and having both the original and translation legalized at the Ministry.
