What would the US embassy do if it was a damaged passport? Seems if you can't use the pages it's bit unfair.

there's so many unknown if you want to chance it. Missed flight, cancelled flight, illness on day of travel, then it's a bit late to sort out all for the sake of getting the extension. 🤷
Lynnette *******
Get the extension. So simple. Well worth the peace of mind too. . What if flight was delayed or cancelled on the day and you're on overstay already.

it's a no visa entry for 60 days. You don't need a visa.
Lynnette *******
It's a game. We have to guess what passport they are on.
Lynnette *******
When approved, the "visa" is the permission to enter within 90 days. On entry you receive 60 day stay as a tourist. You can extend that by 30 days. Keep trying other banks. . Foot slog!

@Ian ********
because he maybe thought the "visa valid for 90 days" was how long he could stay. But it's not. It's valid for 90 days to use for entering the country.
Lynnette *******
Oh dear. It's the problem of wording. Reading the experts reply: The visa is valid for 90 days to use for your entry into the country.

The duration of that stay will be 60 days.
