it's on the Thai TDAC site. It's very clear. No point splitting hairs over using the word should: the word is used in auxiliary function to express obligation, propriety, or expediency.

So you "should" do it within the 3 days before arriving in the country or you won't be allowed in.

the facts are on the TDAC site. Within the 3 days prior to landing. That cannot be anything other than 3 days max. It's very clear.

It's not a visa or exemption form. It's just details of your arrival info that starts for arrivals after May 1st.
