The Retirement Visa is the least troublesome if you are doing everything legit. Wonder why you would give it up.

A Will..... she cannot legally touch your money unless you have made one. I've made my lawyer Power of Attorney so that he pays all debts including the funeral then releases the remainder to my partner. This way the Thai authorities nor my Embassy get involved.

AliJames Ajr Immigration will issue the Cert. Of Residence on the same day i believe, if your TM.30 is in order.

All this will cost no more than about B1200. An agent will charge B3500 minimum even though you still need to jump through all the hoops mentioned above.

You need to get your Residence Cert. From immigration, your Health Cert from a clinic, take those to a licensed driving school, now here's the fun part, watch the safety video.... the driving school will then give you a form verifying all that then off to the DLT where after you do a few tests they will issue you your new license.
