Hm... Visa Exempt is - in my understanding what one gets at the local immigration office - for 30 days - the one I currently hold and expires october 5. This is why I have to go to Tachileik - for the 30 day permit - and then I am leaving october 25. There is a little bit of confusement and mixing of of these terms...
Got extension September 5, so now this is a 30 day permit (I guess it is called) and then I leave, october 25 - hopefully coming back with a ED Visa after new year...
Guess I do not have to go anywhere then! Not even the condo or landlord, after Tachileik...
Hm. Ok so it is just the original one... I have that stamped as you say... TM6... I thought I needed a new one... in other words; I do not need anything else than my passport with the slip +500 bath in cash... ?
And after returning to CM one have to go to the new immigration office right? To do what btw?
Robert Lagas I already got my extend at local immigration office... so, now, border run... I just dont want run, to early, because my flight out is already booked oct 25... currect expire is oct 5...
Ok, I know what you mean. What I mean is of course how do I get a 30 day visa permit when crossing a border without loosing any days of current tourist visa?
By the time of departure I will have a tourist visa and a one-way flight, first time going to Thailand.... Then from Bangkok to Chiang Mai... Then Airbnb for 4 days while looking for condo or serviced apartment... but from this point, there are no official fixed plan... except leaving around 20 of october... problem is I might leave before or maybe even move on to somewhere else... ex. philippines... but if that lack of plan will bring me in trouble I have to act on it now.
