Yep. Don't project your own national expectations on some other race. Either embrace it, or leave. Many foreigners are just so stupid in Thailand... they don't understand anything. Better go back home...
I had my experience from BKK to Hua Hin with Bolt: what they like to do is tell you that they want to drive without using Bolt (for the same price) because this is how they avoid paying the Bolt fees. I agreed once and everything went smooth. But the second time when we stepped out the taxi the driver asked for a 500 baht higher fee and basically scammed us. Lesson learnt: I wouldn't do long distance with Bolt or Indrive or any of those apps. Just Google taxi services and book a proper taxi.
With so many kids the best would be to start some kind of business, like a restaurant business, in this way there is always good food around and the visas are taken care of for everyone automatically.
