It was as simple as them sending your documents to Thai immigration to clarify and should have never been an issue. Thai immigration is available to the airlines

just for this reason and only takes minutes. I know, Singapore airlines questioned something and put me to the side to send documents, within 10 minutes they finished checking me in after getting the ok from Thai immigration.
I think it's important you notify your test and go hotel that your arriving at a different time, and if it's a day later you need a new confirmation to show airline
I waited 20 days then 3 days prior to my flight I contacted my consulate through Facebook messenger, received my evisa on my way to airport. Don't give up on the visa you already paid for.
