Can I use my Thailand Pass for a different flight on the same day after my original flight was canceled?

I got my Thailand Pass! Four days later (today), Thai Smile cancelled my flight.

I emailed AQ.in.th, the company I paid to help with my Thailand Pass (they were great, getting done in 5 hours what I couldn't do myself in 3 weeks), and they said "It's okay if you change your flight and it's on the same day, because you can use that Thai Pass QR code within 72 hours of the stated date."

Is that true, to your knowledge? Can that Thailand Pass be used for a different flight on the same day without getting a brand new Thailand Pass?

Thank you for the guidance!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The Thailand Pass QR code can be used for a different flight on the same day as long as it falls within a 72-hour arrival window from the original scheduled time. It is advisable to inform your hotel about the change, especially if your new arrival time differs significantly.

I think it's important you notify your test and go hotel that your arriving at a different time, and if it's a day later you need a new confirmation to show airline

There is a 72 hour window either side of your booked travel time if the airline change flights. If it’s within that time frame then there is no issue. Make sure your hotel knows of the different schedule.

Just to clarify, it's only a 72 hour window AFTER the original boarding time.

Singapore Airlines just denied boarding me on a flight to Phuket 1 day ahead of the original flight.

Partner in Thailand rang consular services and they confirmed changes are only allowed same day or 72 hours after original flight.

If you simply went to the Thai Ministry of Foreign Affair's website for Thailand Pass (you can find by Googleing) you can see for yourself there is a 72 hour window for arrival time. Google is your friend.

I couldn't find anything on the Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs website that said the QR Code was good for 72 hours. In fact, it stated that any changes required a new Thailand Pass.

Okay, good. I am a little concerned about the discrepancy, though. Hopefully I don't get the wrong immigration officer. :/
