mate I lived there 8 yrs straight it's not that cheap especially when the Ozzie dollar rubbish and to live a good life there and you need medical insurance to rent 15 to 20 K for a modern good condo plus a bike is 60 to 70 K for a nice scooter

You'll need around b to live ok and if you get a girl put another 30k

Better off work her for another 10 yrs hopefully the house have grown another 50% then you can retire nicely

Cheap my father had a stroke and luck for insurance it was nearly 300k

rubbish people using the visa agent's doing that already especially the retirement visa. And even if you get a long visa you need to leave and do a border crossing

like me it's hard to get a visa only so many education visa you can get . Especially for people under the age of 50 . Some people do have money and invested in Thailand they don't need to work in Thailand

And that elite visa is a joke the price they are asking

If they introduced a visa that allowed people to stay in the country that was reasonable money and stop border crossing .
