you are obviously wound up about something… it took me about 15 minutes to get the docs together for a 5 year dtv visa, paid the money and don’t have the hassle..

in all fairness they are dodging the system.. Thailand is one of the easier places to get a visa

Really easy to do but they did ask for bank statements to prove over 500k and payslips

For Last 6 months. As i had moved in that 6 months and my salary wasnt paid 2 months weren’t there.. they asked for a short explanation but that was it

I recently got my DTV and then applied for wife and daughter. They asked for a sponsor letter from me which i sent, then they came back and asked for pay slips, which i sent, AND THEN they came back for proof that i had the required money in the bank even though i had provided that for my visa... Anyway, i provided it and got visa 3 days later.

I know 2 people who have had their bank accounts frozen on DTV's. Why risk it?
