- well this was what I was informed on my student visa - must enter the kingdom in 90 days to use it - as any visa however as we all know this is all confusing and no one has waited more than 90 days to enter the kingdom with their DTV so this is all just speculation anyway
incorrect the visa validity is 5 years you must enter the kingdom in 90 days. My student visa is 1 year - i had to be in thailand in 90 days from approval to use it or else re-apply same with the DTV - this is where people get confused its good for 5 years once it activated - its not active untill you stamp in with immigration you have 90 days to come to do it from approval letter
not true - all visas you have to enter the kingdom within 90 days to activate the visa with the DTV once you activate it you can come.and go as you please. All visas must be used with in 90 days of approval letter or you have to re-apply
Yes I have seen this too - its a 5 year visa yes but like any visa you have to enter the kingdom within 90 days to activate it once you do that you can come and go as you please
in chiang mai immigration- they add 30 days from the date on stamp
i have to extend my student visa every three months they extend from stamp, I go weeks before my current stamp expires just to get it over with immigration is always backed up end up taking all day or two days - so going on your last day is a bad idea
Just buy a ticket for Hanoi Vietnam 60 days out from arrival its cheap - if they ask they dont always ask and it will be the airline who asks before you board to thailand if they do
