CAREFUL! On the passport detail side, the full name is displayed twice. One name is written next to the picture, and the other is written at the bottom. These two names can differ, mainly some swedish, spanish, german or french names often contain letters which are not international standard ! The correct name must be taken from the bottom line, only this one is displayed by international standard

check the bottom of your passport detail side. You will find your name written in "international standard". You first and second names are separated by one "<" or ">", and your family name is separated by two "<<" or ">>". And avoid to use the "-" key

for the application to adriver's license, you need the "certificate of residence" from Immigration. It will specify for which purpose (driver's license) it got issued, and is valid for use on the DLT for 4 weeks. In order to apply for a certificate of residence, you need to be TM30 registered at your accomodation.
