You may want to consult a visa agent. For a fee, they have ways (I don’t ask how) to make problems like yours go away.

As I understand it, Thailand does require a return ticket, however, that is not regularly enforced. The airlines are more concerned than the government because when passengers are denied entry at the border, the airline is stuck with the cost of returning them. I have never been denied boarding for lack of a round-trip ticket, however, my wife just had that happen yesterday in Spain. Royal Jordanian would not accept her one-way ticket so we had to quickly buy a cheap ticket to Hanoi that will be burned. Live and learn.

i agree. The landlord has a right to be compensated for his time. If the law says he must file the TM30, fine, but it does not say that he has to do work for no cost.

My only advice is to show your airline the same passport you will use at Thai Immigration. airlines give this data to Immigration, so you want passports to match. inconsistency raises red flags, though as previously noted, with biomatrics using multiple passports does not help like it once did.

Please clarify how using an agent can cause problems. I have not heard anything about that.
