I am confused about when to file a TM30. I have a mulri-entry Non-O retirement visa. I have filed my first 90-day report.
1. I went to Bangkok for an overnight in a hotel. Does the hotel file a TM30? Do I need to file a TM30 when I return home to Pattaya?
2. I go to Singapore for a week. When I return, my 90-day reporting period is reset, and I must file a TM30?
Thanks for your serious, helpful response!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The TM30 form is sometimes complex based on individual circumstances and local immigration policies. For short stays in hotels (like the overnight in Bangkok), typically the hotel would file the TM30 on your behalf. When returning home to Pattaya, you generally do not need to file a TM30. However, if you travel outside Thailand (e.g., going to Singapore), it may reset your reporting period, and it is advisable to check with your local immigration office for specific requirements about TM30 filing upon your return.

You need to ask your local immigration office what their policy is. Each immigration office sets their own policy on this and it's not consistent across Thailand.
