How long had your funds been in your bank account? Hanoi is notoriously strict, better to try somewhere else.
Dave ********
Yes, make sure you triple check everything! There shouldn't be any spelling mistakes in your name or anything.

It needs to be a bank account. If you get rejected that's probably the reason, not the gym's fault.

Thailand is a popular place for solo travelers. But if you've never been here before, I'd recommend visiting and spending a few weeks getting a feel of the place before you commit to moving here. Finding friends can be tough, but an activity will help. Almost all of my friends here I've met through my muay thai gym, it has a good community vibe. As an expat you have to come to terms with the fact that a lot of your friendships will be transient.

OP said he was approved the second time with the exact same documents. If it was a problem with the muay thai school, why would the embassy approve it the second time?
Dave ********
They wanna see your bank balance, so checking or savings account. Depending on where you apply, it might also need to have been there for a while.

Congrats! I'll see you at Tiger Eye, the training here is great.

this sounds really suspect. She basically gets visas for people who don't actually qualify? Agents like these are gonna ruin it for everyone.
Dave ********
Why is there sudden increase on people wanting to use agents? It's a pretty easy process to do yourself.
