TLDR : Answer Summary
Yes, a DTVisa application can indeed be rejected over minor errors in personal information, such as misspellings in names or incorrect dates. Many users have shared experiences where their applications were denied due to such mistakes, leading to a loss of application fees and requiring resubmission. It is crucial to ensure that all details match exactly with one's passport, and applicants are advised to thoroughly check their entries before submission. Most embassies provide guidance, but it ultimately falls on the applicant to ensure accuracy.
But should not be necessary, its a very straightforward and clear process. Thereās even step by step guides on the e-visa website and on embassy websites.
Obviously one should double check that the personal information matches your passport exactly.
Checking that first/middle/last name is in the correct field is just basic common senseā¦..

Yes, make sure you triple check everything! There shouldn't be any spelling mistakes in your name or anything.

Passport biodata errors are an immediate cancellation. Other documents that are missing will usually be requested. Insufficient documents after a request for further documents will result in rejection.
and I wouldn't call that a "minor error" as the op indicates. Getting your name or passport number wrong is a pretty big error in my mind

yer, seen people get rejected for missing out the Titile section. Mr/Mrs or spelling there name with a symbol not recognized by the system such as ò instead of o. Spelling mistakes Wrong Capitalizatione etc. Pretty crazy
When you did not have to pay the fee again, your application was not rejected, they only asked for additioanal info, once rejected means application ended and you have to do new application.
itās normal that they ask for additional documents or for the applicant to correct something, I wouldnāt call that a ārejectionā.

Yeah I think one of the common ones is assuming the auto input from your passport is correct and not checking it - mine was extremely wrong so inputted it manually
I Heard of how many mistakes were made so I input everything manually, I also do an individual who took screen shots of her info on Each Page to prove it was their system and she got her approval with that documentation.
