It's up to the branch what documents they want. In many provinces they are never asking for the yellow house book. My comment was about Bangkok Bank and their requirements in some provinces.

You can at some immigration offices now use a print out from Bangkok Banks app =12 months bank statement. It even works at CW immigration in Bangkok.

You're totalt correct. Do it the way immigration and your bank requires and your life will be much easier. Strange and sometimes illogical requirements is not something to have an heart attack over. 😎

Unless you're staying in Naklua/Pattaya/Jomtien, then you can pick up your passport at immigration next day (in the afternoon).

Because I'm smart,retired and living in Thailand long term.1,900 baht/year is what I pay. I can do everything at immigration in my sleep. Why would I need an LTR? Please tell.

You mean a 12 months bank statement. The bank letter doesn't show any transactions.

I'm using copies of my bank book going back 14 months plus the bank letter. No need for a 12 months bank statement.
