No, not marrying that's against my principle but if I transfer my Thai income to the UK, then send it back to Thailand, I would have proof of income from abroad. As I'm with Bangkok Bank, they have a branch in London, it would not even incur transfer fees. I could get my retirement visa based on funds in Thailand and income from abroad.
said. It's a matter of trying it out. If it doesn't work in one place, it might work tomorrow at the other counter with different staff. So very interested how you get on
That's the thing, I don't work ;-) I just sit here on the PC, look movies, meet friends. Make sure our staff works. I don't work but still have an income :-)
Since years I would love change my NON-B to a Retirement Visa (I do have the funds in the bank and a monthly income in Thailand) but. If I change in to Pension Visa, I can't get a WP and have a monthly income in Thailand.
So, I have to stay on my NON-B as long as I want to earn money within Thailand.
I am definitely confused now. Immigration says one thing, Labour office says something else. For sure, if you earn an income from work in Thailand, you need a work permit. Yeah? No problem on that.
Non-immigrant ‘O’ visas are acceptable for work permit applications and are for any foreigner married to or supporting a dependent Thai National.
Normally though, any foreigner wishing to conduct business in Thailand would have a Non-immigrant 'B' visa.
