What documents are required for an Indian traveler to obtain a Thailand tourist visa and what is the approval ratio?
Hello everyone, wanted to know what are the documents required for Thailand tourist visa for indian traveller and what's the ratio of approval. Please help.
Answer summary
An Indian traveler seeking a Thailand tourist visa needs to prepare several documents including a filled application form, a recent photograph, a bank statement, a round trip flight ticket, and a hotel voucher. Additionally, cash or travelers cheques amounting to at least 20,000 baht (or equivalent) may be required upon arrival. The approval ratio for tourist visas is reportedly very high, virtually 100%, as long as all requirements are met.

. Indian passport holders cannot get a 30 day visa exemption. You can buy a visa on arrival for around 60 usd that will give you 15 days in Thailand.

The visa on arrival is 60 usd and would get anyone who's entitled to it a 15 day entry stamp, but I get your humour.

Don't forget hotel reservations

Approval rate is virtually 100% if you have all the proper documentation and requirements the Embassy asked for.
It's not bingo nor lottery where you could work out a ratio.

Once you are arrived the immigration might ask you to show the cash again.

I think the approval ratio depends on whether you meet all the criteria they request when you turn in your application.

, I know it's not a VOA you buy when you arrive hereI understand you're wanting to get a tourist visa for an indian national but there are no thai consulates nearby they can apply from.
They have to apply at a thai consulate in india and VFS Global is the company that does the paperwork.
Rivka *********
OPIt is not VOA
Tod *********
I thought they used VFS Global as the intermediary to get thai visas in India?
