TLDR : Answer Summary
An Indian traveler seeking a Thailand tourist visa needs to prepare several documents including a filled application form, a recent photograph, a bank statement, a round trip flight ticket, and a hotel voucher. Additionally, cash or travelers cheques amounting to at least 20,000 baht (or equivalent) may be required upon arrival. The approval ratio for tourist visas is reportedly very high, virtually 100%, as long as all requirements are met.

Just come along with 500 usd and take a visa on arrival from bkk airport. No more drama at vfs office in india.

. Indian passport holders cannot get a 30 day visa exemption. You can buy a visa on arrival for around 60 usd that will give you 15 days in Thailand.

The visa on arrival is 60 usd and would get anyone who's entitled to it a 15 day entry stamp, but I get your humour.

Approval rate is virtually 100% if you have all the proper documentation and requirements the Embassy asked for.

It's not bingo nor lottery where you could work out a ratio.

Should be(almost) same as every Thai consulate in India.Depends which city is your residence. You can apply from that area only.

-Photo

-Application form

-Bank statement

-Round trip Flight ticket

-Hotel voucher

Once you are arrived the immigration might ask you to show the cash again.

I think the approval ratio depends on whether you meet all the criteria they request when you turn in your application.

, I know it's not a VOA you buy when you arrive here

I understand you're wanting to get a tourist visa for an indian national but there are no thai consulates nearby they can apply from.

They have to apply at a thai consulate in india and VFS Global is the company that does the paperwork.
