By the way, many embassies in Thailand from all over the world have informed their compatriots living here about the new tax system. Every foreigner who lives in Thailand for more than 180 days a year must apply for a TIN (tax identification number) and declare the income earned worldwide and which is transferred to Thailand in a tax return. The deadline for submitting the tax return is the end of March 2025. Immigration and tax authorities work hand in hand and anyone who does not have a TIN number and does not submit the tax return on time will no longer receive a visa extension. Check out this insurance. Although I'm not sure whether they want the flight details too. But it looks interesting. Plan 1 for 15'000 THB/year coverage 1'000'000 THB including COVID, is what you need to get a certificate of entry.
