You can go to Immigration and get a ‘re-entry’ stamp which will allow you to leave Thailand and upon your return your visa can continue to run the original term. NOT freeze/pause the original expiry date.

It’s wrong as the work permit stipulates where your working and the job you do there. If that wasn’t so, why do teachers have to change WP’s when they change schools?

. Yes but they may suggest you buy a 30 Day Extension so the money ‘may’ be OK after that period??????
