Great! Thank you for the info. In the worst case scenario what are the chances they would at least give me a 30 day entry as opposed to denying me entry? I know it’s impossible to say with any certainty but just asking your opinion.

What is the current experience for O-A visa holders entering Thailand regarding health insurance requirements?

I recently entered on my O-A visa into BKK on Nov 19th. No questions asked by IO. Entered and processed normally. ( O-A Visa was issued from LA Thai Consulate 8 months ago). I do not have insurance. Hope this data helps.

Al Olsen I see. So the (multiple entry) part of it which I had goes away and I must apply for a reentry permit each time I plan on exiting? Thanks for the info.

Let's say I re-enter Thailand the day before my Type O-A long stay visa expires...I'm stamped in and good for 1 more year. What happens the first time I exit the country after that? Is the visa done?

No need. Just show up during opening hours listed on their website.

It literally took me 10 minutes to submit my papers and I was outta there. There was only 2 other people there. About a $25-$30 UBER ride from LAX
