The 90 day online system used to require an old version of IE to work. Now it works with a lot of browsers, though, including the new IE and Firefox. Chrome still didn't work last time I tried. Try another browser if it isn't working.
Also, you have to be within the online reporting window of something like 2 weeks before due up until about 5 days before, or something like that (I believe those days are off a bit). if you try to it online the day it is due it won't work.
I tried getting him to do this but, unfortunately, it didn't work out in time. He's going to end up coming initially on a visa exempt stamp. We will probably work with an agent in CM to make sure it all runs smoothly. Open to agent recommendations in CM.
While still in the UK at the Thai embassy you could try a rental contract that shows the amount per month highlighted. They may want bank statements to show the income, though. In my case (but not at the UK embassy) I was able to use a letter from my company and they did not ask for bank statements. Another option is to get tourist visas. Once you are here a few months with the house in the UK rented you can go to a neighboring country and apply for new visas.
