Had multiple clients gone through Taiwan, mostly before Christmas and well known 6 months was needed but it was also in person before new years so turn around was 1 day.

I would contact my bank to get a complete 6 month pdf of my statements.

worst case scenario you can always bypass

scrutiny by getting “safe passage” then you get 0 questions at immigration. Also bevare of ending up on the “Grey list” which is where people usually end up and gets cornered by immigration

Well first of all if you have all the right documentation there will be no issue at all.

In terms of canceling it yourself should be durable at any Immigration office.

Thirdly, the thing you’re mentioning about Chiang Mai is very correct, they have been interviewing and overseeing documentation. But the wording for the visa goes like this: you need 500k in your account when applying for your visa, there is no requirement to keep that 500k in your account and the other rule that comes into place are Tourist must be able to show 20k bath in instant access or cash to make sure you can sustain yourself while in Thailand.

But for now entering Thailand the smoothest appears to be through BKK airport.

Anonymous participant could be but I would look at what consulate you be applying from, different consulate different rules.

Also depends on what time line you’re working with.

Would definitely recommend looking into getting a more favorable visa if you’re planning on consistently doing this.

I usually say over 6 visits in a calendar year is pushing it.

Jakarta has received a lot of applications in recent times. Majority due to soft power companies heavily recommending them.

If applying in Indonesia I definitely recommend people to be patient and make sure their application is bulletproof to avoid further documentation request.

Also people should expect to wait up to 14+ days in some cases I have seen waiting times up to 1 month.

Would definitely recommend going the soft power route in that situation as it could be destroy your application as a remote worker.

Otherwise I would get a letter from your supervisor saying it’s okay for you to work remote.

Feel free to send a PM if you have further questions. There is definitely solutions to all type issues.

Definitely recommend 6 months for faster approval and a smoother process at a minimum I would say 3 months but entirely dependent on the consulate you’re applying from.

Also recommend uploading full passport book for Vietnam because it is typically requested later on.

Feel free to send me a PM if you have further questions.

Well heavily depends port on entry letter of Thai law as I understand it no, but 20k is needed as a guarantee to be able to show you can support yourself. That being said recently post from Chiang Mai indicates first time arrivals have checks upon going through

Immigration, and would be handy to be able to show that 500k, haven’t heard from anyone else being interviewed/interrogated like Chiang Mai.

Recent clients of mine reports a smooth process in Bangkok.

Definitely recommend atleast 3 months worth of 500k statements but for faster approval provide 6 months because they might ask a lot of questions without it.

If you need any guidance on the process or have any other questions feel free to PM me
