Go penang and get a 60 days tourist visa. Than extend at the immgration for another 30 days. You can get max of 5 in penang. I use jim's place for this visa. They are a agent.

same as bangkok, they use to tell the school what date and time, the school will sent us a sms, asking all to come in. cos normally only 2-3 of us attend classes on normal days :(
