Lot of people who got employed for a short time have been refused their application cuz they prefer someone who has been doing that job for a few months at least. I'd say that the beginning of next year would be a safer choice but I'd also try to mail them and explain the situation, figuring out wherever they are ok with that or not

The only thing I can think about is your previous history in Thailand, have you been in Thailand for long term, perhaps with an ED visa by any chance?

You need to pay for 10k cuz your bank card wasn't accepted. That could be either a mistake while you typed the number/data of your card or it could happen that your card isn't supported. I'd suggest to try with another card at first, if you have only that one then try again
