yeah that's fine I'm aware of that. On my first visa now. First extension due next year. I'll start 12 monthly deposits (for the following years extension) the month before I apply for my 1st extension using the 400k.

my first extension isn't due until June 2024. Yes I'll start the monthly deposits during that year. Only 400k for me got another 15+ years before I'm on the OA visa. Hopefully things change by then aswell.

so it's just simply select 'funds for long term stay' and that's it. I don't need to start doing it until May 2024.

ok. I'm still a long way off the retirement visa age bracket. Hopefully a decent government is ruling the country by the time I get to that age.

I'm on the 'O' visa at the moment. Only 400,000 or 40k baht income for me to worry about.

when using the income method can you also use the money that you deposit each month. Or does it have to remain above 40,000 each month. My salary will be a lot more than 40,000 going in every month.
