I think Jack Sam is right on this one. I just found the same thing on the Los Angeles consulate website: "The first application for extension of stay by the foreigner is equivalent to the notification of staying in the Kingdom over 90 days."

I believe in your case it is 90 days from entry. The TM30 doesn't reset the clock.

AirB&Bs are legal for stays of 30 days or more or for shorter stays if the property has a hotel license.

Depends on the consulate. Mine took two months through NYC.

Hi Dylan. Glad I saw this. I'm in the same boat. Applied for a 90 day non O retirement visa from the NYC office quite a while ago now. I sent them a polite message last week asking about the status and their reply was basically "be patient and wait." My flight leaves this Sunday so, if they really do wait until right before you leave, then I'm hoping on getting it Friday or Saturday. If that is how they do things there then they should really explain that on the website. It would sure cut down on a lot of messages, phones calls, and worry.

I combined all of mine into one pdf. Adobe Acrobat can do this, of course, but there are also some free alternative apps like PDFgear for the Mac.
