Depends on the country. I read about someone who was denied in Singapore because the treatment 'was not for a long-term disease.' He tried with the same documents in Vietnam and succeeded. The treatment was Invisalign.

Another person—I don’t remember which country he applied in—tried with a letter for two dental appointments (a root canal or something similar) and succeeded as well. However, that was early on. I guess they could get stricter over time.

Anonymous participant I think you can't apply from there. You could go to Vietnam for 1 week and apply from there, for example.

Someone wrote that they got it through Invisalign in HCM, Vietnam.

Another person mentioned that they weren't approved for Invisalign in Singapore.

I guess it depends a lot on which embassy you use.

Where are you planning to apply?

you must be there just in case they request an interview, for example. Otherwise everything is done online.

I applied in HCM on Monday, was approved next Monday. No extra documents requested. Similar for my husband. It took exactly 1 week for each of us.
