After getting ignored for hours calling their phone we ended up just heading to samut prakan.

Leaarned that:

-as long as you're in bangkok any immigration office within bangkok is fine.

-Also told that we cannot simply register a new marriage. so looks like we have to go through the tedious process. but wife found a service that sorts it out for us for 4k baht as we dont have time to run around.

Thx, We're going to try that tomorrow since I have to wait anyway. I'm pretty sure we got away with it some years ago.
