Robert my syrian friend has had many issues as a syrian passport holder. He was on a valid students visa, then switched to type b work visa from laos. But not before they tried to reject him before he even submitted his docs. before that, KH rejected him also in the same way, before he filled in application form.
Now his situation is urgent, his company misunderstood the law and were caught underpaying him at the last stage of applying for extension of stay. He must leave the country asap and he's already a day overstayed thanks to late requests from the Singburi immigration office.
Is there any oversesa embassy that will be more likely to accept his type B visa application?
Is there any law passed that doesn't accept his nationality?? Returning to Syria is not an option for him.
Any experiences from others with a similar discriminated against nationality?? any ideas or thoughts appreciated.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user discusses the urgent visa situation of a Syrian friend who has faced multiple rejections while applying for a Type B work visa in Thailand. The friend was initially on a student visa and later switched to a work visa but encountered problems with immigration authorities. After being underpaid and experiencing delays from the immigration office, he is now overstaying and needs urgent assistance. The post seeks advice on which embassies might be more favorable to his situation and any laws that might negatively impact his nationality.
Wait wait. thanks to the late request of the Singburi Immigration Office. Your friend has a stamp in his passport with clearly state a date until he is allowed to be inside Thailand. So I not understand this.
You can send an e-mail to Singapore, they only ask for double set of application, which can be done on-line and extra photographs. If he can wait 4 weeks in KL, ask before going there.
Okay, I understand this. He is in problems for sure. He needs to leave Thailand as soon as possible to a country that where there is a Thai Consulate that allows Syrian passport holders to apply for in this case a new Non Immigrant B visa.
well yes this is what the company is telling us. Wouldnt be surprised that the company was just not thorough enough. but that doesnt change the position he has now been put in...
You really try to tell me that the Immigration Office is adding requirements to the list at every visit and requested him to go in overstay of his visa?
They didn't believe his previous internship was real. so they requested a certificate from his university that wasted a couple of days for them and pushed him to the last day.
I dont understand the full story myself, but they ended up accepting that aspect then rejecting them on his bank statements which showed he wasnt getting enough salary.
They asked them every step of the way what was needed and they kept adding things to the list.
