TLDR : Answer Summary
Submitting a 90-day report by post in Thailand can lead to rejection for several reasons, such as not following guidelines. It is essential to ensure the envelope is postmarked at least 14 days before the due date, include a stamped self-addressed envelope for the receipt, and provide necessary documents like the filled TM47 form and copies of passport data and visa pages. A typed printout is generally acceptable as long as all requirements are met.

As long as your office accepts 90 day reporting by mail

AND

as long as your envelope is post marked at least 14 days before the due date (that means mailed at the post office by that date)

AND

you include all the required copies of your passport pages, the original 90 day reporting slip that says when you report

AND

you have a stamped self addressed envelope in the packet for them to send the new receipt back to you there shouldn't be a problem. :)

Did you do all those things when you mailed in your 90 day report?

Samut Prakan seem to have no problem with a typed up TM.47, nor for that matter a typed up TM.7.

No one needs or needed to know how long you have been here! Your answer while pertinent to your local office is no use to anyone else. Please keep your snide remarks to yourself.
