Go to Bangkok Bank Silom Rd, Bangkok, and they have all the information you need. The nice lady who handles the retirement pay is very knowledgeable. I have 3 accounts with them. You must have 800,000 Baht in a Thai bank to get a retirement Visa? Agents will cover that but you have to pay extra for that. I have never used an agent and have had no problems. I keep more than enough money in the bank to satisfy immigration.

Call or visit the Thai immigration office and get answers.

I understand your question. You and both need to go to a lawyer and have wills prepared for the future. I have done that and she died 2018. I live in her house but do not own the home or property. I can sell the house to a Thai, or will it to a Thai. You need a lawyer who has experience with this. All of you married to Thai should do the right thing.

million Baht and Baht 50,000 or more per month income. Insurance will be far more than you can afford if you can get any. I am healthy with no medical problems needing regular care or meds. At 85 insurance is sky high. I have several million Baht set aside for when I need money for emergency or health care. Multiply what money you have to work with by 35 and that will be close to the Baht you will get for that money. // Good luck.

That is why I have the emergency savings more than that.
