Yes, if you have insurance for another year and you leave and return before the original visa expires (the one you got in your country), you will be stamped in to the end of your insurance policy.

Definitely check the year of manufacture against the registration year. We came across a few that were much older than the registered year. Ended up buying new.

I believe you can go a few months before it expires, we were about 3 weeks early.

Is this okay for O-A visa in UK?

There's a few dubious Robbie Fowler autographs knocking about in Sungai Kolok from about 22 years ago. I had to sign autographs for all the immigration officers at much annoyance to the locals travelling to work. They all kept saying Robbie Fowler, Robbie Fowler - so I obliged. I have no idea what his autograph looks like but in Sungai Kolok, it looks like mine.
