We applied for our children in London as soon as our DTVs were granted (you need to refer to your visa number in their application). The children’s were granted in under 24 hours (all our documents were in order).

I don’t see why they couldn’t be added at any time in the future.

In London we showed a recent bank account statement for the children (same as I used for my application) which just covered one month.

Oh and the account balance was only just over the £11,000 minimum.

We were granted dependent visas for our two children from the London embassy and used the exact same bank statement that we had already submitted for my husband’s DTV (same bank account for all three visa applications). We included a letter stating he would sponsor their costs while in Thailand. Visas were issued within 24 hours.

thanks Ko, sounds like that pretty much replaces the need for a Thai bank account if it can do everything you need for living there. Will definitely look into to that!

I sent a cover letter explaining the nature of my work (remote freelancing to UK clients via my UK Ltd company), my resume, my current client contract into 2025, and my company ownership docs as evidence.

I moved from document check to pending approval a few hours after I submitted the application , and the visa was issued about 24 hours after that. London digital nomad option via my UK Ltd company.

I also got my DTV from London in under 48 hours. Digital nomad through my UK Ltd company. Very impressive!! They finished reviewing the documents a few hours after submission and 24 hours later the approval was processed and visa was issued.

Mine was all done under 48 hours from London - but I triple checked my documents and made sure I submitted everything the first time. Digital nomad option via my UK Ltd company.

The status moved from document check to waiting for approval after two or three hours. All complete about 24 hours after that.
