Have you checked posts on Malaysia? It is the strictest embassy to give approval for a DTV. It is likely you will need to show the 500K in both you and your husband's account. The children can be supported via both finances.

Yes, submit everything online. No need to visit the embassy unless asked for an interview.

Do you need to show 500,000 THB every time you re-enter Thailand on a 5-year DTV visa?

Anonymous participant No, everyone does not maintain 500K in a bank account. If you are extending your 6 months at immigration it needs to be in a bank account. Majority return the 500k back to higher rate accounts and do border runs where there is no current policy of checking your account.
