This also assures you to get approved quicker bcz it is now the hotel staff who approves the initial documents. And buy insurance from a company in Thailand. They may reject you if buy from abroad since insurance companies abroad may not pay you if you get hospitalized by the hotel without a symptom.

Bangkok, Singapore.. Same thing everywhere now. If connecting flights are not booked as a single product from a single airliner's website, you won't be able to collect your luggage. You are unlikely to be able to start the journey if you don't have proper documents for your first destination. Using aggregated reservation services to make a transit is risky right now.
