probably not a good idea to come here for a month! 15 nights in quarantine, and there are currently other restrictions depending on where you want to go for the remainder of the time (you could end up having the quarantine again).

you'd be better off posting in a UK visa group. not a thailand Visa group.

from what people have said it used to be a way for immigration to ensure you had enough cash to support your way for visa exempt, visa on arrival or short term visas, but is rarely asked for anymore. I was in Thailand 5 years ago and was never asked for it. And when I arrived in dec I was also not asked for it.

Plus nowadays immigration officers all over the world can ask to verify funds for your stay if they suspect something dodgy or that you may not have the funds to support your trip.

then stop trying to post it.

A lot of places will have you send them your cc number and details. Some places don’t have an online portal so they have to manually type your number into their terminal. That’s how credit cards work.

Get over it and stop posting this on everyone’s posts.

If the delays were out of your control I don’t think too much.

But you’ll want to get in contact with your asq for sure and let them know what happened.

@Jorge ***
why would you need to bring that much cash with you?

(It’s not a lot of cash to be honest when converted to other major currencies though)

What visa requires you to ‘bring in’ 20,000b?
