If you are not a Thai citizen or have Thai ID of some sort then yes. Though even with Thai driver license etc its safer to have the passport regardless
I have it, and I meet them all. It just says nothing about being a multiple entry, and the man was very cagey and kept telling me that he wouldn’t talk to me about it until I had the money to show. But I don’t see the point in sending it from the states to Thailand and losing the exchange fee if they’re not gonna allow me to actually apply in country. So I thought I’d check on other people‘s experiences.
I think you got a let it go. The fact is if you’ve been using amnesty since the beginning think of all the free months you’ve already had. I think we can afford to pay this time. Honestly they could’ve said from the beginning you can keep staying but it’s 1900 a month and most probably would’ve done that anyway.
Ok, thanks. So I need to be on an O first then yes? That’s part of the problem as I would need to leave TH to do that but won’t be able to get back in given everything right now... but thanks for the info. It’s at least a place to begin.
Every time I have gotten a two month extension, my children have been with me. No one has ever mentioned this option regardless of how many times I have asked if there is something for this situation. Now that I know it exists, I will go back. However, do you know the name of this visa? In English, and or Thai? I speak Thai, so thankfully that is not the problem. Your advice is much appreciated.
