This is all relatively easily doable without a agent.

Is there a particular reason why you're wanting to use a agent?

Biggest hurdle would be the bank account.

But if you visit a few branches of whatever bank you're wanting to use, you should be able to find one willing to open accounts for you. But with all the mess with Bangkok Bank, I'd personally avoid those.

Would this imply that this is a non-issue for people wit Kasikorn-accounts?

I'd personally not send any agents even if it was possible.

Get the DTV if you can, and worry about what you do after the DTV when you're at the end of that.

It's 5 years. plenty of time to come up with a Plan B if the DTV is no longer an option at that point for whatever reason.

There is no difference to the tourist sims and regular ones though. Just promoted differently.

Still using my tourist sim from 2021.

You can change a lot of the main packages and whatnot in the MyAIS app if you are using AIS.

Not sure how it works on the other carriers.
