Do you have to go in person to immigration to get a yearly extension on a non O / OA or can an agent do it for you? I suppose they need your passport but i have a workschedule of six weeks on six weeks off, how can i get around the only 30 or maybe 45 days before expiration to apply?
As a remote worker i could go for the DTV and not have this problem but there is no certainty that it won't get discontinued or that it can get extended after five years

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires whether they can appoint an agent to handle the yearly extension for their Non-O or OA visa due to a demanding work schedule that limits their ability to visit immigration offices in person. Comments indicate that while personal attendance is typically required, some agents can manage extensions for a fee, with some locations allowing applications several months in advance. It is suggested that the user may also consider applying for the Digital Nomad Visa (DTV), though there are stipulations regarding suitability based on their offshore work status.
DTV is not issued for those who work away from Thailand fifo etc you would need to meet one of the criteria,s to get the DTV other than your offshore work
Yes, an agent can do it. In Pattaya they can get the extension up to 3 months before it’s due, which gives you flexibility. You’ll have to check with agents elsewhere if it’s the same. Go to your bank to ask for the ‘letter for immigration’ and bank statements. Again in Pattaya, agents only require 3 months statements not 12. Also need your most recent TM30 and photos. Some may require rental contract. Cost is a 8000 baht and you usually get your passport back in 2 days.
All this assumes you meet the financial requirements for your extension.
Yes an agent can do this about 14-16k baht don’t know what you mean remote worker 6 on 6 off sounds like you work offshore why not do it on your 6 off and if offshore doubt you would get a DTV for that you can go early an explain your situation
