Can I change from DTV to Non-B visa while in Thailand?

It’s not a massive amount of paperwork. However, as it’s unusual to cancel a DTV, as the are relatively new, it’s not such a clear process.

The DTV is issued by MFA under the embassy where it was approved. The DTV needs to be cancelled by the issuing embassy, before a Non-B is issued.
