nope I tried that first and they rejected it. Not sure how that will work in that period where the hmrc portal isn't open, April to June ish... will have to be previous years return then?

you can do the whole application and save progress as you go before submitting/paying so it’s possible to see what you need and what’s missing.

yeah, I’m self employed rather than company so it was my personal tax return

took 3 days in total, most of that was me doing my tax return! Submitted it late day one, by next morning I had queries from them and after I submitted new docs it took about 5 or 6 hours to get visa. Very quick

my understanding is that different visa need different levels of cover. Non-OA also needed covid cover. This may have changed in the last 18 months.

not sure about that visa. Pacific Cross could be another to look at. I use an agent normally. It's not cheap sadly but not 200 a month!

Try AXA insurance … price can depend a bit on the type of visa you are using. Eg non-OA over 50 will cost more than a non-O retirement visa …. I think! I’m sure more knowledgeable people will reply shortly!
