TLDR : Answer Summary
The community consensus indicates that the declaration form is no longer required for entry into Thailand. Instead, travelers need to complete the T8 form, which can be better filled out on A4 paper rather than the small form provided on the plane. Additionally, key entry requirements include a valid passport, medical insurance covering COVID-19 up to $50,000, and compliance with the Thai Pass and ASQ regulations, depending on whether the traveler is entering through the sandbox program.

Think this is for visa when thai come to your country. You need thaiand pass.... Medical insurance covering covid 19 for 50.000 USD. Valid passport and Asq (duration depend if you go sandbox or not)

No longer needed, you do need the T8, they give you one on the plane but it’s very small and hard to fill in, better to print an A4 one
You dont need or get a TM8 form on the plane. It's a TM6 arrival/departure card. Very easy to fill in, no need to print an A4 one, which wouldnt be accepted at immigration anyways.
I know the difference between the two , when did you last fly into thailand? Because landed in Phuket 4 weeks ago they give everyone on the plane a T8 AND a TM6 arrival card to fill in
